THE Government could intervene in the running of a city school after its GCSE results were branded as 'unacceptably low'.
The concerns have been raised in a 'pre-warning notice' issued to Woodard Academies Trust, which runs St Peter's Academy in Fenton.
It reveals the Government may appoint extra directors to help oversee the school if improvements are not made within a 'reasonable period'.
